Our hand-crafted abrasive wood polish is designed to bring the look and feel of your sanded project to a professional level. Enjoy a natural, true-to-color satin finish; free of tool and sanding marks. Check out the silky results on the figured Maple bottle stoppers and pizza cutter – all finished with our abrasive wood polish.
We developed this exclusive blend to work harmoniously with our other finishes. Our abrasive wood polish utilizes cold-pressed hemp seed oil as the base, which is a drying oil, and one of our go-to favorites. Although our abrasive wood polish can stand alone as a finish, we recommend applying One-Eyed Willy's Wood Paste prior to for the best results. The wax-blend in our wood paste give the abrasives a medium to cut and polish, delivering a more desirable outcome. Our unique food-safe abrasives progressively refine to a finer mesh as you work them in, maintaining their cutting efficacy. Thus, with passing time, the finish gets increasingly more smooth. Once the project finish is to your liking, either toss on a final coat of our wood paste, or leave it as is. Our choice wax blend allows for further polishing either by hand, or wheel – allowing the user to decide their desired level of sheen. This product is free of all harsh chemicals and only contain naturally occurring VOCs – plus it smells like oranges!
